FAQ'S

If you've been re-directed here after filling out the questionnaire, you will be contacted shortly. Please read the FAQ's below to learn more about the amazing service Ardent Hound PWM has to offer!

How often does Ardent Hound PWM come out?
It all depends on how many dogs you have and if you have a lot of activity in your yard. If you have multiple dogs and kids playing in the backyard a lot, we recommend 1 once a week. If you have 1 dog and minimal activity in the backyard, maybe bi-weekly.

Do I have to sign a contract?
Absolutely not! There are no contracts to sign. However, there is a service agreement and we ask that you enter this service with a long-term outlook. Dogs will never stop making their messes and it is a long-term commitment to pick up after them. So we ask that if Ardent Hound PWM exceeds your expectations, you allow us to work alongside you are furry pal the entire journey!

How do I pay for services?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. You may present the card to us at the time of the first service, or we can email/text you a secure link to add your card. We do not accept cash, checks, or Venmo.

How often will I be billed?
We bill monthly on the first day of the month and use the following formula. Weekly amount x 52 weeks in a year / 12 months = Monthly amount. That way the amount is always the same, whether it's a four-week or a five-week month. This helps clients plan and budget for this expense.

Will the first time cost more?
Yes, We charge a flat fee of $50 for first-time cleanups, just incase there is a lot of waste on that first round.

Do I have to be at home when you arrive?
Nope! That’s one the many things about this amazing service! We are happy to work while you are away!

How will I know someone serviced my yard?
You will receive and email/text before arrival and an email/text after the job has been completed

Do we work all year?
Yes, we work through most weather all year. Dogs make their messes all year long, and Ardent Hound continues to clean up and remove dog waste almost 365 days a year, unless its a major holiday!

What happens if it rains or we experience other adverse weather conditions?
Ardent Hound PWM will work in most weather, but there may be days when heavy rain, high winds, lightning, and other unforeseen weather circumstances could happen. Safety is number 1! In those cases, you will receive a text message notifying you that we will not serve your yard on that day.

Will I still be charged if the weather prevents my service?
Yes, please understand that we will have twice the waste pick up the following week and that waste could still be damp with rainwater making it a little trickier to pick up.

What about the holidays?
Ardent Hound PWM takes the following days off. New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and Christmas Day. We will also take a vacation from time to time and we will notify you in advance.

If my service day falls on a holiday or vacation day, will I still have a weekly charge?
Yes, please understand that we will have a double week's worth of waste to remove upon our return.

What about unforeseen circumstances?
There could be times when your service is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the most common being an illness, injury, or a vehicle breakdown. In these cases, you will be given as much notice as possible that your yard will not be serviced that day.

Will I still be charged if my service is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances?
Yes, please understand that the following week there will be two weeks' worth of waste to pick up. We do understand that a yard can only be allowed to become so messy before it needs to be cleaned. In the event of an extended illness or injury, if you would like to clean your own yard, we would be happy to issue you a credit. Ardent Hound, will of course, do the best to keep these types of situations to a minimum.

Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, please. We do not climb or jump over fences, so please leave your gate unlocked on service days. You may provide us with a key or a combination if that would be more convenient for you.

Will I be billed if I forget to unlock my gate, or the dog will not let you into the yard?
Yes, because we have to cover travel time to your location and there will be twice the waste to pick up the following week.

What if I want to skip a day?
We understand that people go on vacation and take their dogs with them, and there may be a few days each year where we skip the day. In such cases, we ask for as much notice as possible (at least 24 hours) so that we may fill your spot with another customer. Please understand that we reserve a time slot for your yard every week. Excessive skipped days may result in removal from our service.

Am I required to cut my grass/pick up my yard?
Dog waste blends into tall grass, weeds, leaves, twigs, fallen fruit, etc. If you choose to let your yard go, we will not be able to guarantee complete removal of waste...We can't pick up what we can't see. If you let your yard go for too long, we will have no choice but to put your yard on hold until the grass is cut.

Do Ardent Hound PWM work while pets are outside?
Absolutely! As long as the dogs are kind and friendly! If you have a dog with more of an aggressive/protective nature, we ask that they are kept inside until the job is complete.

Can I add or lessen service?
Yes! Just let us know 48 hours prior, especially before you are billed and your service frequency will be updated.
